NewConnect is a simple fun way to discover new people! Get connected with new people around you. Show yourself, get in touch with locals and people from your home town!
NewConnect works around the globe. You can use NewConnect when you are traveling as a backpacker, expat or you are just on a holiday and want to socialize.
Here’s how it works:
SEE WHOS AROUND YOU
- Check the live map to see whats happening around you and whos close by using geo-location.
CONNECT WITH PEOPLE
- Follow interesting people and see what you have in common.
- Discover people to chat with.
- See the NewConnect status to see if other users are traveling, backpacking, expat, on a business trip or at home.
- Find people from your home location while traveling around the world.
- Find local people to get tips, insights and updates.
- Become a host for other travellers visiting your city.
- When traveling further, stay connected with you new digital pen pal using NewConnect.
EXAMPLE
- You are backpacking around the globe and arrive in Amsterdam. If you want to socialize with a local host, you open NewConnect and connect with locals or other travelers around you. You can now explore your new city, and socialize with new people.
